November Blocks

November Blocks began last week. (November 14, 21 and Dec. 12)

Saints & Sinners with Mr. O'Hara. Mr. O'Hara is taking a look into the lives of saints, what makes a saint, saints of yester-year and saints of today. Special guests will be coming Nov.21 to talk about St. Padre Pio.
Who is your favorite saint? Did you know the St. Helena was the mother of Emperor Constantine and is now the patron saint of archeologists?

Happy New "Liturgical Year". Yep, that's right...as a church we begin a new year on the First Week of Advent, Nov 28th. The year begins with the anticipation of the birth of Jesus and goes through the year until we celebrate the last liturgical week of Christ the King.
Do you know the difference between a solemnity and memorial? How many Holy Days of Obligation are there? Why is Easter always on a different date? All these questions and more are answered in this class.
